About Us

SACRAMENTO AREA AL-ANON INFORMATION SERVICE

is operated by volunteers from the many Al-Anon Family GROUPS located near Sacramento, California. This region is comprised of five of the  DISTRICTS in Al-Anon’s NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WORLD SERVICE AREA, officially designated as Districts 6 through 10.  Our GROUPS and DISTRICTS cooperate by sending representatives to a monthly INTERGROUP meeting.  Our MISSION is:

To provide information and support to families and friends who are affected by someone’s drinking.
Districts 6-10 serve the Northern California counties of Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Sierra, Solano, parts of Napa, Sacramento and Yolo counties with the following:
